Impressive Kids

Today I was helping the 6th graders with write-ups from their school trip. They did something I could never convince the 9th graders to try at the junior high. Every group had to prep for interviewing foreigners at tourist sites.

I spent some time last month teaching them how to politely approach people so that most of the interviewees would find the experience entertaining. They took photos together and wrote the results on A3 size paper, presumably to post on the walls.

They met people from Poland, Australia, The Netherlands, Belgium, Spain – seems like the weak dollar might be keeping the Americans away. I enjoyed hearing them introduce their guests today. From the photos, it looked like everybody had a good time.
