I enjoy studying blog stats to see: how many folks are looking at my blogs; what tools they are using to find them; and for what they are searching. Every time I look, I find something amusing.
The other day I wrote about our dinner at Futaba Sushi, a tiny owner operated shop in Matsusaka. The same day I wrote it, someone entered ‘futaba sushi’ in a search engine and, not surprisingly, found my main blog. I found that baffling because I can’t imagine many folks outside the city know about this shop.
One thought was that someone read my site and then did a search, but I wouldn’t expect them to click through to my site again. Very puzzling.
